A pixel art action RPG about a broke legendary heroine who goes back to work as a Rank F rookie, under a fake name, to pay the bills.
Centuries ago, the Demon King of Kalmagor conquered humanity. The cosmic gods answered by scattering the Ancient Tombs across the world: dungeons linked to parallel worlds, forgotten eras and eras that don’t even exist yet. They change shape every time someone enters, and at the bottom of each one, past the Guardian, an altar holds a relic of unpredictable power.
Four Legendary Heroes won the war, received a fortune and vanished.
She was one of them. Retired to a cabin in the mountains, she spent decades and ten million Zennies on runic beauty creams. Now her body has gone rusty, her spells are forgotten, the roof is falling in and the bills arrive every week. Broke, and too embarrassed to say who she really is, she signs up at the Adventurers’ Guild under a fake name, as a Rank F rookie, and starts all over again.
It’s a comedy with heart: a legend who has to clean the sewers to pay for a new roof, while her body slowly remembers what it was once capable of.
What you can already play
- The full prologue: wake up in the ruined cabin, register at the Guild under a fake name, descend into the Ancient Tomb beneath the sewers, survive the horde, defeat the Guardian and finally pay for the roof.
- Shape-shifting tombs: rooms, corridors, breakable crates and treasure rolled on every run, with each floor more dangerous than the last.
- The Nest: an everlasting tomb hidden under the cabin, with locked doors, levers, webs that only fire can burn and the Weaver Queen waiting at the end.
- Muscle Memory: taking hits and defeating monsters fills a bar until her body remembers who she was. In legendary mode, a golden wave clears the screen.
- Forgotten spells: fire, ice and thunder runes at first; a wall of flames, a lightning storm, healing and more come back as she explores.
- Assimilated relics: each one fuses with her body forever, with random effects, from Rank F up to the legendary Rank G (GOD).
- Eldoria, a town of brick, iron and rune crystals, with townsfolk, quests, a forge and a market.
- Achievements, an item and monster compendium, three save slots and an English translation.
Inspirations
Fantasy isekai and light novels (with the cliché turned inside out: it’s the strongest heroine in the world starting from zero, hiding that she was once the protagonist), Ragnarok Online for the stats and currency, Diablo for the dungeons and loot, and a bit of Vampire Survivors and Moonlighter.
Platforms
The game runs on Windows (keyboard and mouse or controller) and Android, with touch controls and auto-aim.
